Abstract: 

Background and purpose: Current scientometric indicators have some strengths and weaknesses. This study was conducted with the aim of developing a new scientometric index for the comprehensive scientific evaluation of researchers, the so-called multifold index. Materials and methods: The study was conducted with 96 researchers from Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences with at least two articles in Scopus and at least one citation to the articles. A checklist was used that included variables, such as the scientific age of each individual, the square root of the total number of each article, the sum of references to top articles, the H-index, etc. Some statistical analyzes such as factor analysis, KMO test and Bartlett’s test for sphericity, correlation matrix and SPSS software version 22 were used. Test functional characteristics and area under the rock curve were used, and sensitization was performed, extracting 99% predictive power and diagnostic power (0.7). Results: When calculating the multifold index, the H-index has the largest weight of 0.238, and the numerical value it provides is appropriate and measures all aspects of a person's scientific activity. This index is different for researchers who have the same H-index. Conclusion: The Multifold Index leads to a qualitative assessment and takes into account all aspects of a person's scientific activity. It can be used for assessments, predictions about the scientific status of researchers, educational and research groups and for creating a comprehensive scientific map of the country.

Abstract: 

Purpose: This study aims to clarify the status of scientometric indicators in science scientometric organizations. Methodology: This article is a descriptive and library research. Searching in scientific databases and literature review, we identified scientometric organizations as well as scientometric indicators, then extracted the data using a checklist. After classifying the databases, a log was completed for each of them and they finally were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Findings: scientometric indicators differ in each group of scientometric databases. Impact Factor was used in 22 databases (52. 38) and it was identified as the most applied scientometric indicator. The Hirsch index appeared in at least 15 databases (35. 71) and was ranked second. Among the studied databases, “ university ranking databases” were ranked as top using scientometric indicators (85 indicators) and “ human and financial databases” obtained the second rank using 56 indicators. In other databases, “ JCR” and “ professional or subject index” using seven indicators, jointly located at the sixth lowest rate in the indicators, respectively. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that the scientometrics databases are different in using scientometric indicators, and similar indicators can be introduced for each group of measurement bases.

Abstract: 

The scientific output of a researcher includes academic publications, creditability of these publications and number of citations. Universities and institutions evaluating the research activities have always taken into account the academic status and ranking of the researchers. Selection and application of an appropriate method to assess the academic activities have also been a concern for scientometrics centers. In the past, criteria such as number of publications, total number of citations and average number of citation were taken into consideration. In the past decade, a physicist named Hirsch (2005) introduced an index known as hirsch (h index) to evaluate scientific output (1).

Abstract: 

In finance field, two ways are the most important to analysis, fundamental and technical analysis. Different experience showed that, using one of them, independently, cannot bring in return more than they are used together. So, it seems are needed more researches in this section of finance field. In technical analysis by using information such as prices and traded volume, indicators are calculated and base on roles that introduce with them, decision are made. It probably the normal roles of indicators are not profitable more than before and are not able to bring extreme return to investors that use them. In stock market without enough efficiency, using technical analysis caused returns more than using fundamental analysis, independently. In this paper will tested to optimize indicators’ normal roles and is tried to produce efficient tools to bring return more. So that are used 50 companies that are much traded in years between 21 of march 2008 to 20 of march 2012 and optimizing are done first by using trying all of area and in second step by using enetic algorithm and finally compare to result from normal roles of indicators and buy and hold.

Abstract: 

this study has investigated the scientific publications on learning and related concepts, based on the scientometric indicators in the Scopus database. This research is an applied and conducted with a scientometric approach. From 1941 to the end of 2023, 4030 articles in the field of learning and related concepts have been indexed in the Scopus database. subject distribution of the articles showed that a total of 4030 articles related to learning skills were published in 27 subject areas. The fields of social sciences, computer science,engineering,Medicine,psychology,arts and humanities,Business, management and accounting are respectively the leading fields in publishing articles related to learning skills. The United States is the most active country and the universities of California, Georgia, Michigan Medical School, Gent University, Qatar University and Bartin University are the most active universities in publishing articles on learning. the article of Connolly TM,Boyle E. A,MacArthur E, Hainey T Boyle J. M entitled “A systematic literature review of empirical evidence on computer games and serious games”, with 1895 citations is the most cited article related to learning skills in the field of computer games. The scientific map of this field in the Scopus database consists of 12 clusters and 2371 links. These clusters include self-regulated learning,problem-oriented learning (problem-based),learning and learning skills,education,collaborative learning,self-directed learning,e-learning,online learning,metacognition,experiential learning,mobile learning and active learning. Findings showed that the emphasis in scientific research in the field of learning are changed from traditional learning methods to new learning methods such as collaborative learning

Abstract: 

Background: Undoubtedly, medical science has been born since the beginning of human creation. One of its important branches is neurology. Neurosciences in Iran, with a little delay from the first world, with the efforts of researchers, opened the way for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, and we reached the place where we are.Methods: In this bibliometric and scientometric study, we have evaluated the process of neurological science in Iran. By referring to the reliable indexes Web of Science (WoS), PubMed and Scopus from 1963 onwards, we checked. We showed the published activities of Iranians in the form of charts and tables.Results: This study indicates the increasing growth of scientific studies in the field of neurology. In the field of neuroscience, the researchers are mostly aimed at the education and training of specialists and PhD students, and depending on the research facilities, as well as acquaintances and connections for the publication of articles. Diseases that have afflicted a large number of people causing them to suffer and limiting their activities, such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer's, epilepsy, Parkinson's, and brain strokes have been the focus of researchers.Conclusion: Neurological studies have an increasing trend and can be divided into two basic sections, which are mainly done by neuroscientists and are based on the educational needs and training of specialists, but neurology studies and scientific publications are mainly done by neurologists and based on feeling the need and diseases in this field have been done.
